Street artist Blu who is famous for his large scale wall paintings, as well as wall animations, is back at it again with this huge piece in Berlin. The video shows the progress of the painting, and a little incite into his process. The finished product is absolutely amazing, I just don't know what this guy is going to do next, it seems every time he does something it gets crazier and crazier. For more info on Blu check blublu.org, and here is the Muto wall animation video, just in case you haven't seen this one yet.

Graffiti vs. Street Art: Brazilian style

Lately there has been a lot of tension in the word of street art and graffiti. To the average person or art critic they may seem like they are based on the same principals, but when it comes down to it, in their purest forms they are nothing alike. It would be like comparing a lion in the zoo to one on the plains of Africa, not exactly the same. Recently in Brazil the conflict has hit the front lines, or better yet the gallery as a group of 30 "Pixadores" stormed the Choque Cultural Gallery in protest against the "marketing, institutionalization and domestication of street art". These are some very strong and direct actions, but whether you hate it or love they are about their business.
