now I'm not a sociologist or cultural anthropologist, but I think the emergence of Barack Obama as a new model of mainstream black masculinity (in this case contrasted with Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent) is an interesting subject.. and this short doc does a good job examining all sides of the story.
